A Walking Day in the Peak District


A favourite Peak District walking day starts from Hartington. It’s such a pretty Derbyshire village and is famous for its cheese; ‘Hartington Blue’. After heading off past Hartington Hall, a very popular YHA property, we head down to Biggin Dale and along to Wolfscote Dale. Both Dales are level but high sided and very dramatic.
