As our thoughts turn to next year’s programme we wanted to get some feedback. We are considering offering a totall new destination for our short walking breaks. Joining friends, earlier this year we spent three days walking the coastline of North Berwick in Scotland.
We ventured on to parts of the Southern Upland and the John Muir Way. It is truly spectacular and the network of paths is superb, hence we are considering offering this as a short walking break in the future; let us know what you think.
The area boasts one of the largest Gannet colonies in the UK. The gannets return to the Bass Rock every year and a boat trip around the rock could be included in the walking break. It’s a fantastic hiking area which boasts some amazing seabird life. Gorgeous puffins nest on Fidra Island.
North Berwick is only a 30 minute train journey from the beautiful city of Edinburgh making it easy to get to via train or car. You could extend a short walking break with a visit to the city for some culture; before or afterwards.
We would be grateful to know whether you might be interested in a walking break in North berwick: please email us.
A quick reminder: We still have a few spaces left on our Dolomite Walking Holiday in September.
