Italian Dolomites: Hotel Digon

Hotel Dijon We have been coming on holiday to the Dolomites for many years and in our opinion Hotel Digon is an absolute gem: Without doubt it is one of the best places we have stayed in. The Hotel Digon is situated close to the beautiful town of Ortisei in Val Gardena with spectacular views to the surrounding mountains.

The Stufflesser family have recently renovated the hotel to a very high standard and all ensuite rooms command impressive views most of them with a balcony and satellite tv.

The excellent breakfast is a fine start to the day and the superb five course evening meal served in the beautiful dining room is something to look forward to after a day’s walking in the mountains.

The attention to detail of the family and all their staff is second to none. A perfect base for our walking holidays in the Dolomites.
